Softflex

The individual layers are thinner and some models feature lighter materials, giving the ski a softer flex. Light skiers especially benefit from the enhanced bending characteristics, offering greater enjoyment with less effort.

Benefits:

  • Optimal ski deflection
  • Less effort required for improved comfort
  • Reduced weight

Full Edge Contact

The widest points of the ski are set further forward or back, allowing the shovel to grip faster. The edge in contact with the snow when the ski is tilted becomes longer, improving stability.

Benefits:

  • Easier, faster turn initiation
  • Improved grip in the turn due to the longer contact area

Solid Metal Edge Light

Same edge width as the SME, but with a modified die-cutting procedure that inserts the edge less deeply into the ski, saving weight.

Benefits:

  • Longer service life
  • Reduced susceptibility to damage
  • More grinding possible

Adaptive Contact Length

The widest point on the shovel is set further forward. Together with a slight rocker, the more the ski is tilted, the further forward the contact point of the edge with the snow moves, preserving nimble characteristics without sacrificing stability.

Benefits:

  • Greater tilt increases stability and sense of security
  • Playful and forgiving at lesser tilt angles

Tail Rocker

A longer rocker at the tail with a flatter radius.

Benefits:

  • Decreased edge contact makes the ski more playful
  • Enables optimum grip when edging
