Design meets Montero. The result is the Montero AX Orea. Equipped with Tip and Tail Flex technology, the All Mountain Rocker, and a lightweight wooden core, you have a versatile all-rounder that’s a real eye-catcher on the slopes. The depressions and the plaque on the surface create a unique look. The dark racing sidewalls round off the elegant design and give the ski additional stability in the turns. With this ski, you’ll truly play with the conditions on the mountain, making each descent your personal highlight.

Light Core & Super Light Core
Particularly light European wood species are deployed in the all-mountain, freeride/off-piste and touring segments. This makes the core a little softer and suppler, which lends the ski dynamism and makes it very durable. Wider than conventional edges, a wider edge makes the ski a little more stable.
Rocker
The gradual bending up of the ski at its tip and tail is called the rocker. Stöckli modifies the rocker according to the type of ski. Typically, the longer and more pronounced the rocker, the more lift is generated and the more responsive and easy-turning the ski becomes.
Solid Metal Edge Light
Same edge width as the SME. A modified die-cutting procedure, however, means the edge is inserted less deeply into the ski, which saves weight.
FULL EDGE CONTACT
The widest points of the ski are set further forward or back. This makes the shovel grip faster and the part of the edge in contact with the snow when the ski is tilted becomes longer.
ADAPTIVE CONTACT LENGTH
The widest point on the shovel is set further forward. Together with a slight rocker (more gradual up-bend of the shovel), the more the ski is tilted, the further forward the contact point of the edge with the snow moves. This preserves its nimble characteristics without sacrificing stability and grip during the turn.
Tail Rocker
Rocker: A longer rocker at the tail with a flatter radius.
Flex Torsion Control
An S-shaped notch in the aluminum at the shovel and tail of the ski offers softer flex and torsion at the front and rear. As a result, the ski exhibits more torsional flex, making it easier to initiate turns. At the same time, when changing direction, the ski remains under control because the torsion can adapt.
